Meet Our Team


Our practices are based on the belief that our customers' needs for optimum nutrition are of the utmost importance. Our team of Dietitians and Nutritionists is committed to meeting those needs. In addition to specific dietary advice, behaviour and lifestyle modification counselling plays a major role in the support offered by our Dietitians, with all our team having completed many hours of furthering professional development in this area. You can come to our offices knowing you are in good hands. We understand health issues and nutrition can be confusing, so we will work with you to answer any questions you have. You will leave your appointment with a better understanding of your health.

Liz Forsyth

Sports Dietitian

Liz has been practising for the past 18 years both in Australia and the UK. She completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) in Brisbane and has since practised in many areas of dietetics including hospital based acute care, community based clinics, workplace & corporate health programs and private practice. She has also furthered her studies as an Accredited Sports Dietitian  through Sports Dietitians Australia.


Her experience covers a broad range of medical conditions which benefit from nutritional therapy and dietary modification including weight loss,diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance and metabolic syndrome, cancer, gastro-intestinal conditions,high cholesterol, triglycerides and blood pressure. She provides practical individualised advice.


Liz has pursued her passion for health and lifestyle modification and now enjoys promoting optimal health including weight management and the Non-Dietiting Approach, addressing metabolic dysfunction; and improvement in body composition and performance through sports nutrition. She promotes optimum health and physical performance, for which she uses the term 'Lifestyle Nutrition'. In establishing the practice, Liz's vision is for DNA Nutrition Group (Dietitian-Nutritionists Australia) to be synonomous with exemplary service, latest research and providing the missing link that connects you to an optimal state of health that we all deserve.


As a mother of 3, Liz lives on the beautiful Tweed Coast where she applies her skills of dietary and lifestyle planning while juggling a busy household.



Alyce Rees

Accredited Practising Dietitian

Accredited Nutritionist

Alyce is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, Personal Trainer, and Group Fitness Instructor. She studied a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition and Health Promotion) and Masters of Dietetics at Deakin University, Victoria. She has previously held Health Promotion and Community Dietitian Roles in country Victoria. She has worked for many years in private practice in Darwin, servicing the general public, nursing homes and Australian Defence Force members. 

Alyce believes in nourishing the body and being active to feel energetic, strong and healthy. As a dietitian and nutritionist she provides evidence-based nutrition strategies across the lifespan. Her role is to empower patients to achieve their health goals, through practical dietary recommendations and sustainable health and lifestyle changes.  She provides nutritional services to individuals in clinic and at home if required, and also conducts groups and group challenges.

She works with individuals to meet their dietary needs, which includes but is not limited to:
